ABSTRACT
In “Effects of Internet-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Routine Care for Adults in Treatment for Depression and Anxiety: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis” ([JMIR Res 2020;22(8):e1810]) the authors noted two error which need correction.
The pooled effect size of 1.78 for depression mentioned in the abstract must be corrected to 1.18, as correctly mentioned in the results section.
Also, “inclusion of severe cases” the header table 1 must be corrected to “exclusion of severe cases”, correctly describing the text in the main result section “A total of 9.1% of anxiety studies (k=2/22) excluded cases with severe symptom severity; all depression studies allowed patients
with severe depression severity to be included.“
The correction will appear in the online version of the paper on the JMIR Publications website on November 22nd 2024 together with the publication of this correction notice. Because this was made after submission to PubMed, PubMed Central, and other full-text repositories, the corrected article has also been resubmitted to those repositories.
