ABSTRACT

Background:

There are many concerns about repeated measurement with self-report methods that are discussed in this paper. These points deserve to be considered by those using intensive, repeated self-report designs.

Objective:

To outline the potential issues with repeated measures intensive measurement studies.

Methods:

This is primarily a discussion/opinion paper.

Results:

Many concerns about intensive, repeated measurement designs are discussed.

Conclusions:

There are many concerns that researchers using this methodology should consider and, if possible, address.
