ABSTRACT
Background:
Geographical and economic barriers limit access to healthcare services in rural regions of Colombia
Objective:
To design and validate a tele-rehabilitation model using video broadcasting for asynchronous therapy
Methods:
A case study in San Vicente del Caguán, evaluating the effectiveness of physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Results:
The model was validated, demonstrating feasibility in improving access and clinical effectiveness in rural areas.
Conclusions:
The model is an effective solution that requires technological infrastructure and inclusive policies to maximize its impact
