ABSTRACT

ChatGPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is interacting extensively with humans. It is foreseeable that similar large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) models will revolutionise the traditional medical paradigm. ChatGPT may have unintended consequences while making a significant contribution to the development of healthcare. We recognise that the upcoming wave of AI development will require rigorous standards of ethical review for AI in multiple legal, humanistic, algorithmic, and informational aspects to protect patient safety and privacy.
