Can Moving our Bodies Improve our Mental Health: Personal Survey
ABSTRACT
Background:
I chose to this topic as I have struggled with my mental health in the past, and exercising has helped to improve it. I want others to be aware of the little things they can do to change theirs for the better.
Objective:
My objectives for this paper are to share the relation between physical activity and mental health.
Methods:
I sent out a survey to individuals within the age range of 16 to 21. These people have many things in common that result in their mental health struggles.
Results:
The results I found were extremely useful and supported my thesis. Almost everyone who responded said that they have struggled with their mental health and that exercise has helped better it.
Conclusions:
Based on the results of my survey, it is clear that their is a relation between exercise and mental health.
