Ease of use of the Electroconvulsive Therapy App by its users: Cross-Sectional Questionnaire Study

ABSTRACT
Background:
A platform which provides information about ECT in an easy-to-understand format is the need of the hour.
Objective:
To conduct a survey to obtain the views of App users after having used the ECT App.
Methods:
A survey was conducted between January 2017 and March 2019. Results were collected via paper forms, email responses and Survey Monkey and all were inputted onto Survey Monkey to facilitate analysis.
Results:
The App was very easy to download and use, has all the information required and impactful.
Conclusions:
The ECT App can be beneficial in sharing appropriate information to professionals and the public alike, and help in gathering unbiased and non-judgemental information on the current use of ECT as a treatment option.
