ABSTRACT

Background:

College students’ health and well-being has garnered widespread attention and concern in recent years. Similarly, the expansion and evaluation of digital technologies has grown in recent years for different target populations.

Methods:

Wearable data and weekly survey data will be collected and analyzed.

Results:

The WearDuke initiative (wearduke.duke.edu) completed the planning phase in 2018-2019 and launched a pilot study in Summer 2019. A total of 115 of 175 invited students enrolled.

Conclusions:

The short and long-term benefits may be substantial for students, the campus, utilization of health services, and long-term health. Clinical Trial: n/a
