ABSTRACT

Podcasting is becoming a more popular form of media. It's use in medical education is being researched - but what about it's use in public education? In this article the author offers a how-to-guide on starting a public/patient facing podcast. Her hope is to inspire more physicians to being to utilize this type of media to share evidenced based information. More research is needed looking into how podcasting can be used to help with patient education.
