Editorial: Completion of the Transfer of the Online Journal of Public Health Informatics (OJPHI) to JMIR-Publications Platform.
ABSTRACT
It is my pleasure to inform our stakeholders that the transfer of the OJPHI to JMIR-Publications has been completed. I want to express my gratitude to all stakeholders for their patience. The process has taken a bit longer than expected because we wanted to get it right for the first time. We can all rest assured that the journal is in very good hands. The immeasurable value of transforming raw data into information and knowledge for effective and efficient decision making by using information and communication technologies was evident during the Covid-19 pandemic. While public health is an information-intensive discipline, it lags behind other health-related disciples in the use of information and communication technologies for the delivery of services and resource management. Online Journal of Public Health Informatics (OJPHI) strives to provide an unparalleled experience as the platform of choice to advance public and population health informatics.
