ABSTRACT

Both the availability of COVID-19 vaccines and people’s adoption of these vaccines are indispensable to effectively controlling the pandemic. While useful insights on COVID-19 vaccine development are available, less is discussed about factors that shape people’s vaccine adoption. To bridge this gap, in this paper, we aim to examine key factors that impact individuals’ access to and adoption of COVID-19 vaccines, ranging from vaccine inequality to vaccine hesitancy. Furthermore, strategies that can help promote people’s vaccine adoption are also discussed in the paper.
