Utilization of artificial intelligence chatbot in decreasing teledermatology turnaround time in a tertiary government hospital in the Philippines: A retrospective study
ABSTRACT
The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted the integration of advanced tools and digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), into medical practices, revolutionizing global healthcare delivery. A retrospective analytical study was conducted at Rizal Medical Center in the Philippines to evaluate the effectiveness of an AI Chatbot in reducing the turnaround time for patient consultations. Our results showed that the utilization of an AI Chatbot possesses the capability to enhance operational efficiency and effectively manage patient flow within a demanding healthcare environment.
