Digital nursing quality management: an evolutionary concept analysis

ABSTRACT

Background:

Rapid advances in digital technology and its increasing integration into healthcare create an opportunity to leverage these innovations to improve nursing quality management.

Objective:

This paper aims to report the results of an evolutionary concept analysis of Digital Nursing Quality Management (DNQM).

Methods:

The Rodgers evolutionary method of concept analysis was used to examine the attributes, antecedents, consequences, and related concepts of DNQM.

Results:

DNQM is a strategic management approach that systematically uses evolving digital technology to achieve optimal nursing quality, guided by the timeless principle of humanistic care. The defining attributes are human-machine collaboration, interactive empowerment, and a digital ecosystem.

Conclusions:

DNQM is not a mere amalgamation of separate components but a dynamic ecosystem shaped by individual, organizational, and technological factors. Clinical Trial: Not applicable.
