Fight a more contagious global epidemic-misinformation of COVID-19
ABSTRACT
The world today is not merely facing one kind of epidemics, coming together with the COVID-19 epidemic, the global misinformation epidemic is even more contagious. The innocent publics are not only suffering from the COVID-19 epidemic, but are also hurt by the “misinfo-epidemic”, which is very distressing. In view of the present situation, we call on more publics’ participation in fighting against the “misinfo-epidemic” under correct guidance of national governments and leaders. We call on people around the world to believe in science, in fact and in each other and to be proactive in fighting against both the COVID-19 epidemic and the “misinfo-epidemic”.
